It isn’t often that they get a night fully to themselves, no brothers coming in and pestering them (not that Gabriel would stand for being interrupted). Usually, their time together is short and… not sweet so much as fast and dirty. Not that Gabriel has anything negative to say about that because feeling Sam’s huge hands on him, getting to press his human against a wall and muffle any sounds with his mouth is always a rush and he loves every moment of it.

But there’s something nice about lying in bed or on a couch together and watching tv or movies without paying attention to anything beyond holding each other close. He’d always pegged Sam for a snuggler, but hadn’t thought of himself as one until he realized how good it felt to be pulled into the hunter’s arms, solid warm chest at his back, or spooning up behind Sam and tucking the human’s head under his chin.

It’s those moments, Gabriel’s discovered, that he loves the most.
