Whining and in pain...

... Woke up this morning with half of my face and head hurting. And it's still not completely gone. I took two ibuprofen and it didn't even put a dent in the feeling. Had to wait four hours to take Excedrin Migraine, which has helped a bit. But I can still feel it. I even stayed on the computer for a bit, but moving around the house made it worse.

My stomach feels yucky, which is just oh so fun. I'm almost always hurting somewhere, but I hate days where it's like it all wants to gang up on me. I dunno why. *shrug* Just seems to happen.

My older sister has to work overnight tonight, so I'm babysitting, while she's sleeping today and while she's gone tonight. Which isn't a big deal, because I always babysit on Thursdays anyways. My problem with it today is that Big Sis just asked me to make sure I get my niece to take a shower tonight. When I did that earlier this week, my niece slipped while I was helping her out of the tub and hurt her leg. So I'm kinda freaked about being the one in charge of this again. Especially with how my head is still hurting and I don't like being vertical right now. And I understand why Big Sis can't do it before she sleeps today because she's had a really busy, hectic day and needs to get as much sleep before she has to go to work tonight. I just... yeah.

Now, I just recently posted an entry asking for short prompts to help get my writer's block to go away. I started on two of them, but I haven't been able to get anything finished. The reason I wanted to do it was to write some nice, short fics for people on my flist and then I could finally get more added to this hurt!Jared fic I've been working on.

Well, obviously I haven't gotten any of those prompt-fics done, right? But somehow managed to add over 1000 words to that hurt!Jared fic yesterday. *shakes head* And I'm really happy that I was able to add something to it. But I hate that now I can't get anything written for those prompts. Because they all rock and I love them and I want to write something for each of them. But I've sat with a near-blank word document in front of me and haven't gotten anything more added to it today. *sigh*

Wow, this was all completely random and weird and I'm really sorry if none of it makes any sense. I just needed to get all this out because I haven't had anyone to vent to today and I don't think anyone was really paying attention when I was complaining about it earlier. Or, they just don't quite understand how bothered I was by it all. *shrug*

Awwww. *SMISHES* I'm sorry you don't feel good. And I'm sorry you're busy and are having a bad day.

I was trying to find a "bad day" pic that would kind of make you smile and could only come up with this. D:

Well I'm REALLY REALLY happy you were able to write in the Jared fic!! *hugs* Go you!!! /o/ And ywah, you didn't write for the prompts yet, but obviously they were helpful in some weird and strange way because you were able to write some... which was the POINT of requesting prompts, right?? So, it worked! YES! :)

I hope you feel better soon. D:

LOL. That pic made me smile. hehehe

Yeah, apparently my muse likes to make things all weird and complicated. *rolls eyes* Now I just want to be able to write in anything. lol. Whenever my head stops hurting, maybe I'll be able to think straighter and get something done.

If nothing else, I've got the weekend. I'll just have to force myself to get some writing done then. *nodnod*

Thanks for the comment. ^-^ I appreciate it :)

*crosses fingers* I hope so, too. ^-^ I don't have to worry about babysitting or anything tomorrow, which at least gives the illusion of a less stressful day :D

Aw, Chick! *hugs* How old's your niece? My niece I see the most of (and babysit most weekends) is five, so around that age? May I suggest Disney film on the TV, old sheet on the floor in front of it, and glitter. Lots of glitter. *nods* Keeps them quiet so you can just lie down on the couch, keeping an eye on your niece, whilst also relaxing! *nods* Works a treat... sometimes... And I've realised that this will probably be completely late now... darn timezones. Lol. Still, for next time, glitter and Disney.

As for your writing! I hate it when my muse just ups and leaves me... Especially when I'm feeling kinda crappy and I just want to get lost in writing. Don't worry about it though! I can't talk for everyone, but I'm willing to wait for however long for a fic you've written! *nods* And one day, I promise, I actually will comment... *hangs head in shame*

P.S - Bagels and honey always make me feel better... but then I'm a freak so... Lol! It is nice though...

She's 7 (as of last week :D)

LOL, yeah a bit late now. It's nearly 1am here. I actually saw this pop up just as I was about to go to bed. ^-^ But, glitter aside, I might just have to do that next time. See, because Big Sis had to work overnight, my niece had to chill with me in my room and I don't have a DVD player or VCR in there anymore (my last DVD player finally died). But we watched her tv stations and she went to bed without much fuss after her mom left.

You know, your prompt is one of the two I've got started, I believe. I was so annoyed earlier, 'cause I had started writing it and then changed what I'd had. I felt like I was doing good and then... I had to leave the laptop and get my niece into the shower. *headdesk* But, hopefully I'll be able to continue it tomorrow. *fingers crossed*

ooo, funny story (for me anyway) about honey. Me and my bestie went to the Renaissance Faire a couple years ago and I bought these honey sticks, right? The flavored ones. And I thought they tasted pretty good, but there was something about them that bugged me. A few months later I grabbed this fruit cup at school and it came with honey and cottage cheese on the side. Well, I tasted the honey and realized that's the part of the honey stick I don't like. *facepalm*

(Sorry for the long reply. I'm all over the place right now. lol)

You should definitely consider it! My niece is obsessed with Finding Nemo. She loves them all, but that ones her favourite. Her mother blames that on me... I used to shove her in front of it when she was a teeny tiny baby... *grin* What? Babies like bright colours, right? Lol. Kept her quiet...

Ooh, my prompt? See, now I shall even more eagerly await it... and even I'm not mean enough to not comment on a fic that was written for a prompt I gave! *grin* If it makes you feel better... I've done no writing today... *cringe* I kinda wanted to, but I haven't actually had time.. *huff* And it's my turn to babysit tomorrow. Lol. Joy of joys! *grin*

You don't like honey? *snicker* But you eat honey sticks? Lol! Sounds like something I'd do! i really like honey though... it's one of the only things i'm not allergic to! *snort* You learn that your tastebuds seem to like random stuff when you're allergic to life in general. Heh! Honey's nice though... Manuka honey... Mmmm.

hehehe, you know, I'm not sure what my niece's fave is, it changes constantly. lol

Glad to hear it! I love love love comments. Especially if I'm writing for a prompt. lol. I like to know if it worked for the prompter. *nodnod*

Yeah, honey and me are not buddies. lol. It... I dunno how to explain it. It stings my tongue. IDEK. But every Halloween I get the honey sticks from the pumpkin patch. There's a reason my bestie calls me a goofball I suppose.
