*headdesk* Technical Difficulties...
...aka: I'm an idiot.

I somehow forgot that I had my flash drive with me when I went to my best friend's place this past weekend... And now I can't find it anywhere! She's keeping an eye out for me, but for now I'm going without. Which means I unfortunately will most likely not be updating MSM anytime soon as all of my fic is on that flash drive. *sigh* I'll try to add more for the chapter I had started working on before I lost it, but I can't guarantee you'll see anything for a little while.

I apologize! *hides* I'm so upset with this. I might be able to find a few of the chapters in emails I sent to one of my friends, so I'll certainly try to update. But I can't make any promises at the moment. I'm really sorry about this.

In other news, I've started work on a new fic because I am insane and don't know how to keep myself from getting attacked by plot bunnies... I've only started working on it this week, but I've already got a few pages of notes written and I'm getting started on an outline, so I might be posting something new soon. Don't expect much right now, as I think it's going to end up being long like MSM, but I'm certainly gonna try to get something written. *nodnod*

Okay, done with my rambly rambleness. ^-^ Thanks to everyone who've commented on MSM and kept me going. I'm really sorry about this new delay! *huggles* <3<3<3

I really feel you and I hope you find it soon. I do the same stuff. I lost a 500 dollar digital camera in my room. It was missing for 3 years. When my apartment flooded in March I found it in a big box of clothes I was going to give to charity. I had to go through the box and throw the damaged clothing away and I found the camera in its bag about half way down.

Needless to say God gives with one hand and takes away with the other. I am glad to have my camera back and I hope you find your drive sooner than I found my camera.

Yeah. I told myself I wouldn't let myself lose this one. 'Cause I lose pretty much everything. I originally had all my flash drives together on a chain and it kept me from losing them for months. But recently that chain broke and wouldn't hold them anymore. Hence, it becoming lost... >.<

I don't know what your financial situation is but you can get a USB terabyte drive for 120 dollars on Amazon.com. the 2 I have are by Lacie drives and are great. they are about as big as a large paper back book.

A Terabyte, in case you don't, know is 1000 gigabytes. LOTS of space. If you care about your data you will have plenty of space to back it all up to one place. You will have it on your PC and on the drive.

I don't know about you but I have TONS of pictures, videos, stories that are all fandom related as well as my other data and about 2000 movies I have downloaded. When the HD in my laptop crashed 2 months ago I would have been screwed without my backup drives. I even have my copy of Windows 7 on the drive.

If you have the money it is something to really consider. It is larger than a flash drive, you can't put it in your pocket. You have to carry it in your hand and most require a power source but it is worth every penny in space and peace of mind.

If you decide to make the investment let me send you my recommendations from Amazon. I work in information technology and I know what is good and what is shit.

Just thought I'd give you the idea because my data means so much to me and I would FREAK if I lost it.

Dude, I wish I could get something like that! I'll totally look into it once I'm working again. Unfortunately, I'm kinda stuck right now. But thanks so much for the suggestion!
