Ugh! I was playing Rockback the other day. I've been playing a lot recently, because my parents were on vacation so I could have the system out. And it's awesome, because it really helps to pass the time when waiting for friends or don't have enough brain-power to read another 10 stories. - I'm veering a bit off topic, aren't I? Sorry... Back to it:
Well, I decided to play a song because I hadn't played it in a long time. I like it, but it's not one of the amazingly fun drum songs in the game. Well, I played it and all of a sudden it hit me that it totally would work if I were to write a songfic about Sam/Dean. And it was awesome. For a couple minutes, however long the song is, I had a bunch of images running through my mind and was totally excited over this inspiration.
Unfortunately the excitement would not last. I realized when the song was finished that there was no way I was going to be able to pull something cohesive out of the images I had swirling around in my brain. And it would help to have some sort of experience, or a real idea of what I'm writing about in order for it to be any good. So now I've got these images in my head and have nowhere to put them. I might just end up writing down what I've got and see where it takes me. I don't know.
