See, and that's where I'm the weirdo. When I first saw Dean/Cas, I thought people were insane! I was all "They would never fit together. Sam and Castiel were made for each other". Even my bestie (who doesn't read slash) agreed with me. I ignored Dean/Cas until I started reading Sam/Gabriel, because there's usually both in fic. I still don't read it by itself (but that's 'cause I'm a Samgirl. I have been fully converted to believing that Dean and Cas are a pretty good match).
