Bored and Writer's Block isn't helping...

...I'm stuck in the fic I'm working on right now. Well, actually I'm stuck on all the fics I'm working on, but that's neither here nor there. I'm just trying to work on the fills for the prompt entry I posted a little while back and the one I'm focused on at the moment is being mean and I can't get anything else out of it right now. Which sucks because nothing's been resolved yet. *sigh*

I tried working one another fill instead and wasn't even able to get a full sentence written yet. The whole point of asking for prompts was to help jog my writer's block and write some short ficlets. The only one I've managed to finish ended up at 2700 words, I think. This one is looking like it'll be just as long. And I can't even get anything written for the other ones I've got to fill.

And now I'm just bored because I want to read fic, but there haven't been any new Sam/Gabriel fics I can read posted recently. There have been a few posted for the Gabriel Big Bang, and I've read some of them. But there are still quite a few I can't because of content that bugs me. Not that they'd be bad fics, because I'm sure they're awesome. But my squicks won't let me read them and that is soooo annoying. Why do I have to squick so easily?!?!?! And a lot of the J2 and Sam/Dean fics I've seen being posted just aren't holding my interest. WTH?! I even tried branching out into another fandom (Criminal Minds), but can't even finish half the fics I start reading because they aren't Supernatural. >_<;;;

I need, like, deadlines or something. That would help me write, it's always helped me before. But personal deadlines mean nothing to my muse, because they're so easily broken. grrrr...

What about just drabbles? I can give you a prompt/pairing and you have to fill it within 100 words? I did that for spn_bitesized and it was a good stress reliever and sparked some synapses. Or, it can be like 150 words if you want but no more than 200. They're quick to write but good because you have to figure a way to say a lot in the most concise way possible. :)

I'm almost done with the new chapter of bb. Like, seriously this time. Probably within the next five minutes. Though it sounds like you're in a Sam/Gabriel mood so J2 probably won't help satisfy you. D:

I think I'd like to at least try that. I can't guarantee they'll make a lick of sense, but it might be good to get rid of this darn block.

I think I realized part of my problem with the G/S/C fic. I have it set up as G. POV, C. POV, then S. POV, right? It goes in that order twice. And the next part of the pattern is G. But I'm stuck. So I think I need the rest of it to be in S's instead. Because he and I get along way better than anyone else. lol. I just didn't want to break the pattern. But that'll have to be done.

And: EEEEEE!!! I read this comment a couple hours ago but couldn't comment back because we were in a rush to leave. But I'm sooo excited for Chapter 4. I just saw that it was in my email. ^___________________^ *happy dance*

Kay!! I'm going to start a new thread or whatever the hell it's called with each prompt, okies? And I'm only gonna give you two options, that way if you don't feel one then that's OK and also you won't be overwhelmed by me spamming you with like twenty bajillion prompts! Kay! It seems an odd fit. Much like them, in that aspect. He slides his hand down the skin of Sam's leg, curls his fingers right above his foot. His thumb fits perfectly, like a puzzle piece, in the groove of Sam's ankle. It's a favorite position of Gabriel's, his human lying on his back across a newly snapped up couch, resting after long hours and rough hunts, feet plopped gracelessly into his lap. A stroke across sensitive skin, a tender squeeze, and his hunter finally tumbles into a restful sleep. Precious few hours of peace in their world of chaos.

It's not a surprise and it doesn't hurt quite like it did when he was 18 and the black sheep of a fractured family. There's no sting and if there were, Castiel's lips pressed to the nape of his neck, Gabriel's fingertips sweeping trails down his chest would melt the ache away. Replace it with something deeper, burning low, pooling in his spine as tongues tangle, hands grip, legs entwine. The only place he's ever truly belonged.

But that is what so many had believed of the Apocalypse as well. The Winchesters have a knack for overcoming impossible tasks, and Castiel is no stranger to doing his part. Sam's soul was once bright, even when weakened by Ruby's tainted influence. Castiel plans to make it so once more. He will mend it; every tear, every gash. Stitch by stitch if he must.

Totally still want to do this. It's sooo much fun. And I think the most relaxing/enjoyable parts of my weekend have been when I was writing these little Shot Swapsies. hehehe. I'll hopefully have something for these 2 soon.

And I'm not against using quotes or lines from songs/books. ^-^ Expand it a little. :D

hmm... I'm not sure about this one. It took me a couple tries to get it to where I think it's okay. We'll see.

When he turns his head to see Gabriel's hair flopping in the wind and forward at Castiel, whose eyes glow in the sunlight, Sam knows all he needs to.

Maybe it's because of the way Castiel's arms are wrapped steadily around his waist, keeping him grounded no matter how high they go. Or maybe it was the hope and awe shining clear in amber eyes before they took off, Gabriel's quiet, pleased surprise in realizing just how far Sam's trust extends.

When he's with his angels, he is in no danger of falling. An invisible weight lifts and Sam laughs.

Prompts are always up for interpretation but I was hoping for something like this. Just something light hearted, schmoopy, and uplifting!! These guys are so devoted to each other, I can tell with just the looks in their eyes and their small smiles. So beautiful!! ♥
