It's always interesting to track the kink memes. You get to know how many people out there have kinks as weird as your own and that's pretty awesome, if at times I wish I could unsee some of them. But it's always my own fault for looking, I get that.

But you also get to keep up with all the ~drama~. People are totally freaking out because someone reposted a prompt with the roles reversed and the OP thought it was "rude" as well as a few others. Here's what I find funny/aggravating:

The person switched the roles from bottom!Jensen to bottom!Jared. And the OP is angry because if they'd "wanted Jensen on top, I would have prompted it".

But I've seen prompts get reposted with the roles reversed all the time, and had nobody comment. You know what I've noticed about those prompts? They're bottom!Jared getting switched to bottom!Jensen. I've seen that happen multiple times, since I've been tracking these comms since I found out about them. And I've never seen them freak out over the bottom!Jared stuff getting switched to bottom!Jensen.

This obviously isn't actually the reason the OP is pissed and I know that. I'm just bitchy and moody and still miffed about someone commenting on a post with "it's not like bottom!Sam/Jared is a rarity" when only about 20% of this year's BB fics were bottom!Jared/Sam. So, yeah. In a ~mood~.

I'm really, really sorry for this stupid, ridiculous whining post. It didn't have much point beyond me wanting to just scream at all the stupid I've witnessed this past week.

Ahhhh. *sighs in relief* So glad to hear someone that thinks the same as me. I just posted a request to Spnstoryfinders the other day, asking for long bottom!Jared/Sam fics, and I MIGHT have mentioned in the request, that my excuse was I couldn't find too many, that they seemed kinda rare, and I was hit with a couple of comments like, "This year's bigbangs are 80% bottom Jared." And exactly what you just put there, someone told me bottom!Sam/Jared isn't a rarity, when..I know good and well it IS! And I see TONS of requests for ONLY bottom!Jensen/Dean fics, and no one talks back to them whatsoever. :( People are unfair.

*snorts* It's instances like this that make me want to issue a nasty blanket statement about all bottom!Jensen fans when I know that's not true.

I get the OP would be upset. But really, the person liked your prompt enough to see it, just with the characters switched. I would be miffed, but happy someone else liked my idea.

And, IDK which meme you're talking about, but can I just say? Most prompts for kink memes aren't that original to begin with. I'm just saying. >.>

It's really stupid and pathetic that over half of the hate and wank in this fandom is over Ships and things having to do with them. I mean Jesus this is all for fun get over yourself. I've seen prompts on other meme's taken without permission before (like mine) and I didn't jump their bones I just said hey that's my prompt and done with it. She should have said hey I linked that prompt in another meme and if someone wants to write it I as in me the original OP wants bottom!Jensen but if someone wants to wrote bottom!Jared for the other girl that's fine too. That would have solved all of their problems just ugh....this fandom sometimes. The things we fight over

Bottom!Jared/Sam is rare anymore out there. *nods* It use to be rare to see bottom!Jensen/Dean (which was so nice. LOL - this coming from a hard core bottom!Jared/Sam fan) but now it is totally the other way around. One of the HUGE reasons I don't read fics anymore. Alas, you won't find that on my board! *winks* And even in the rare fic where Jensen/Dean does bottom, he still kinda tops. LOL

Totally with you on this one! I got a review for one of my fics that stated they'd love to have seen who topped in the relationship between Sam and Gabriel because, in their words 'it's hard to tell, Sam's all meek and shy now but he's still really tall.' I kinda gaped a little. Then politely told them to check out all my other fics and see who they thought would bottom. *snicker* Come on!!! With hair that floppy, how can Jared/Sam not bottom. I mean, if all the top!Jared/Sam people can claim his height as the reason for him to top, dammit, we can claim his hair for the exact opposite reason! Nods!

... And the penchant to wear pink...

But yes! I totally see your point. People need to stop whining about *le gasp* god forbids people kink Jared/Sam as the bottom. I mean, I thought the whole point of a kink meme is that no one is sneered at for their kinks. Correct me if I'm wrong, but... are we bottom!Sammy/Jared people not being a little discriminated against for you know, ignoring the fact that he's six foot forever (because, clearly that makes him all toppy and dominant and grr...) Oh come on! I'm five foot nothing and I'm more freaking dominant than that guy! *snicker*

I totally agree with you with what you said. I'm pretty much a dean!girl but I prefer the fics with bottom!Sam/Jared. I really don't understand the fics where Jensen is the bottom and made into a simpering girl. Not that I think Jared is a simpering girl either but he just seems the more likely one to bottom of the pair. It is just so hard to find any fics with a bottom!Jared these days like you said, I know a few people who write bottom!Jared but it is really rare to find them.

It's really unfair that the OP on the kink meme was angry with a top!Jensen, like you say lot's of people repost reversed prompts all the time.

The one thing that really annoys me is the lack of tolerance in the fandom from some people, they can't handle others having a different opinon and think it's ok to take it out on others. Personally I have never been on the end of the abuse but I do know others you have and I hate seeing it.

I love this post, the bitchness is just fantastic!!!! And I totally understand why your annoyed!!
