wolfishxwillow | Bored and Writer's Block isn't helping...

...I'm stuck in the fic I'm working on right now. Well, actually I'm stuck on all the fics I'm working on, but that's neither here nor there. I'm just trying to work on the fills for the prompt entry I posted a little while back and the one I'm focused on at the moment is being mean and I can't get anything else out of it right now. Which sucks because nothing's been resolved yet. *sigh*

I tried working one another fill instead and wasn't even able to get a full sentence written yet. The whole point of asking for prompts was to help jog my writer's block and write some short ficlets. The only one I've managed to finish ended up at 2700 words, I think. This one is looking like it'll be just as long. And I can't even get anything written for the other ones I've got to fill.

And now I'm just bored because I want to read fic, but there haven't been any new Sam/Gabriel fics I can read posted recently. There have been a few posted for the Gabriel Big Bang, and I've read some of them. But there are still quite a few I can't because of content that bugs me. Not that they'd be bad fics, because I'm sure they're awesome. But my squicks won't let me read them and that is soooo annoying. Why do I have to squick so easily?!?!?! And a lot of the J2 and Sam/Dean fics I've seen being posted just aren't holding my interest. WTH?! I even tried branching out into another fandom (Criminal Minds), but can't even finish half the fics I start reading because they aren't Supernatural. >_<;;;

I need, like, deadlines or something. That would help me write, it's always helped me before. But personal deadlines mean nothing to my muse, because they're so easily broken. grrrr...

*pouts*

Sam/Castiel, mend

He doesn't know how to fix this. The flayed soul retches and screams, soundless and deafening at once. Cowers from the touch of renewed grace meant to heal, never hurt. There is nothing for it. But that is what so many had believed of the Apocalypse as well. The Winchesters have a knack for overcoming impossible tasks, and Castiel is no stranger to doing his part. Sam's soul was once bright, even when weakened by Ruby's tainted influence. Castiel plans to make it so once more. He will mend it; every tear, every gash. Stitch by stitch if he must.

Yes, I couldn't help myself. The prompt just fit in with that so well. And Castiel has made it clear in canon for goodness sakes that he doesn't approve of what was done to poor Sammy. So it's almost actually non-AU for them. hehehe

JDM/Jared/Jensen - reverence

Fair is fair! Also, this is 512 words, not a 100. But I wrote it at the hospital last night (family member had a sudden ER visit, everything's OK now, but we spent 7 hours there and this is how I kept myself awake at four o'clock this morning) by texting it to myself. Yeah. It... doesn't make sense. And it's weird. And if I ever expanded on this, it would really just be an excuse for threesome porn.

Jensen and Jeffrey kneel on either side of Jared’s prone body, inhaling the scent of the henna tattoos so meticulously painted on their new ruler’s young body by three High Priestesses yesterday. The damp clay smell sends sparks down their spines and to their groins. This is the last step of the seven day coronation process. And the most important. Hazel eyes blink open, so serious and strong, yet vulnerable just for Jeff and Jensen.

“My right. My mentor.” Jared whispers damp-dry like the henna, his breath and air and life skimming over Jeffrey’s weatherworn skin. Jeffrey bows down in acknowledgement and acceptance, offering his forehead to his ruler which Jared blesses with a kiss.

Jeffrey rises, stern dark eyes burning. “My sovereign, my life.” Jeff swears, bowing again, this time to kiss Jared’s lips. They kiss, hard at first for Jeffrey to assert his position, then soft—Jared’s quiet demand for unconditional service. It’s just them three and the Witness on the other side of the door so Jeffrey lets his moan of want rip through his throat.

When they part Jared blinks, long lashes flirting with high cheekbones and turns his gaze to Jensen. “My left. My childhood friend.” He acknowledges Jensen who bows and offers his forehead for Jared’s spit-slick and bitten lips.

“My sovereign.” Jensen murmurs, throat tight and heart hammering. “My love.” He grins at Jared and bows again to kiss his ruler, his lover, his friend.

When Jensen parts he relishes in Jared’s whimper and the lust-blown gaze of Jeffrey. He watches his ruler’s Adam’s apple bob as he swallows thickly, hitching a cocky eyebrow. Jared sends him a look that could be either a pout or a rebuke, but their blooming sovereign presses on with the ritual.

“I swear to protect my people.” Jared quietly but with a strong resonance so much like his late father.

“And we swear to protect you.” Jeffrey and Jensen answer together. Jared grins, cutting dimples that seven days ago belonged to a loud and obnoxious boy on the cusp of manhood and today belong to the most powerful man in the country.

“Make me yours. Just as the country and the people are mine. Possess me, my guardians, my confidants, my loves.”

It’s Jared’s first command as ruler and it echoes the first command of so many before him. With such timeless reverberation, Jeffrey and Jensen have no choice—no other desire—but to obey.

Jeffrey moves beneath Jared, his chest beneath his ruler’s. Rough hands run up and down Jared’s sides, playing tender ribs like a harp. Jeffrey’s stocky frame cradles Jared as he presses inside, his sovereign’s steady rock, always there to catch Jared should he start to weaken and fall.

Jensen glues himself on top of Jared, all aggressive bites and licks and kisses, hips moving fast and hard, hands wrapped into long brown locks, pulling softly. Jensen is Jared’s challenger—he will always keep Jared in check, always balance him out.

Jared had never feared this day—not after he had chosen his two guardians.

First: I'm glad everyone's okay. It's always the suck to end up in an ER visit.

Second: This is beautiful. And I'm kind of crazy happy that you went over 100 words because I love this so much. It's intriguing and original. I don't know how you came up with this, but I'm so glad you did. :D:D:D Awesomesauce.

Dude. I have no idea how I came up with this, either. XD But I'm not complaining. It kind of makes me want to expand on it, just a little, and make it like a 1-2K one-shot. And ALSO!! It's my first threesome!! /o/
