Summary: Written for wellitsnotgoingtosuckitself's prompt at my tumblr: Sam/Gabriel, Sam asks Gabriel to mark him.



It’s not because he’s insecure, or so Sam tries to tell himself. It’s not because he’s afraid that without it Gabriel will leave him; get bored or realize that Sam’s not worth the time. He just wants the proof, tangible proof that Gabriel is as invested in them as Sam has been from the beginning.

Gabriel knows him, better than Sam knows himself sometimes – the angel is similar to Dean that way – and his lips are soft and reassuring against Sam’s own when he brings it up, fingers grasping his hips firmly and possessively and grounding Sam to the here and now as he presses him down into the mattress. Those hands grow warmer where they’re pressed into his skin but Sam barely notices the intensity beyond the emotions flooding through him that aren’t his own and somehow still manage to mirror what he’s been feeling for so long.

He curls his hands into Gabriel’s hair, bringing their mouths together in kiss nearly as searing as the angel’s hands on his hips and Sam finally understands: Gabriel shares his feelings; his worries and insecurities and neither of them has to worry anymore because it’s for now and it’s forever and it’s for always.

I have no idea. I read it in some fic and then it wouldn't get out of my head.

But it certainly paints a lovely image of where Gabriel presses his hand when they're standing together, clothed or not. :D

Oh yes! I love marking fic for this pairing so damn much it's kind of scary :p Your description of their kissing and grabbing and groping is kind of, no definitely, steamy. Love it!
