Summary: Sam doesn't think he wants to get rid of his wings.

A/N 1: A follow-up? To my first wing!fic, Not the Last Time.
A/N 2: I've written two wing!fics and am still somehow without any real wing!porn. Ah well.
A/N 3: I'd originally planned to post something else today, but was unable to get it finished because of all the noise in my house. I've been unable to concentrate enough to write anything of substance while taking care of my sister and niece and having to listen to the TV crazy loud and just everything. But I wanted to hold up my end of Fic Swapsies for

meh_forget_it, so I decided to work on something that could be shorter than what I'd planned to post before.

"How long is this supposed to last?"

Sam's voice shakes slightly when he asks, and even he isn't sure whether it's because he wants them gone or wishes they could stay.

He's almost starting to get used to how they move naturally with him, pushing back into the strong fingers combing through each feather; gentle, smooth caresses he never wants to stop.

"I don't know, Sammy," Gabriel finally answers, voice coming soft from where the angel is kneeling behind him.

It's become their ritual since Gabriel found Sam on his knees, shirtless, two large wings where there had never been any before. The angel snapped them from his and Dean's motel room to the privacy of another (Sam thinks it's one of Gabriel's design) and before he knew it, fingers pressed into muscles he hadn't even known had needed it at the time. Something to do with how his body isn't equiped to handle the weight of these new appendages, he didn't really pay attention to anything past the feel of those hands digging into his shoulder blades, up and over until they were buried in the red-tinged feathers.

It should probably worry Sam; there's no way he can go out in public like this. But mostly, he's relieved that they might not go away just yet. They've only been around for a few days, but they already feel like they're a part of him and he doesn't know what he's going to do when, not if (he's knows better than to get his hopes up by now), they disappear.

"Has anyone ever told you that you think too loud?" Gabriel's voice breaks through his rambling thoughts and snaps him back to the present.

"Most people have the decency not to listen in, Gabriel," he replies.

When he opens his mouth to say more, the words are replaced with a surprised moan when Gabriel, the cheater, presses his thumbs into a particularly tender spot, gliding in small circles along the top edge of his wings, and down until he meets the bare skin of Sam's back again.

Goosebumps erupt down his arms when the pressure eases off, fingertips tickling over the sensitive skin between the wings.

"Pfft, I'm way more awesome than 'most people'."

Sam huffs a small laugh which turns loud and long at the suprised squawk Gabriel lets out when he shoves out a wing, catching the angel off guard enough to knock him into the headboard. He turns around and grins at the sight of Gabriel's warm amber eyes twinkling with that everpresent mirth - and maybe just a little something deeper.

"Who's the awesome one now - "

Gabriel playfully tackling him onto his back over the mattress has him giving a squeak of shock of his own. Before he can say anything - protest or otherwise - warm lips seal over his, a tongue sneaking in and he opens to its pressure easily. Fingers curl in his hair and he moans, pushes up into the touch but still unwilling to break their kiss. Before the appearance of his wings, fingers in his hair was the fastest way to turn his brain to jelly and Gabriel has no shame in taking complete advantage of that knowledge it seems.

Then there's that sensation, something he has yet to have gotten used to, nails scratching over the sensitive flesh beneath feathers. He throws his head back against the bed and groans when Gabriel doesn't even pause before latching onto the skin of his neck, tongue and teeth driving him crazy in turns.

Sam gasps, opens his eyes - hadn't realized he'd even closed them - at a new, lighter touch, and a gust of cool air brushing over him. Wings, golden where his are red, drape over and around them, like it can shield them from everything else. Sam knows then, that even if he loses these new appendages, the ones he's come to feel as though they're truly a part of him, he'll be okay. Because he'll still have this. And really, this is all he needs.

Sweet googamooga!!! Wiiiiings!! Oh, see now, I totally feel like I got the awesome end of this deal of ours! Wings!! *cough* So, maybe I have some sort of unnatural fetish for wings, so what? It's kinda hot in a 'you look like a man bird, but hotdiggedy, those are wings!' kind of way... Um... but this was... Guh. Wings!! Sammy with wings is awesome on it;s own, but then Gabe got his out (and I'm somewhat amused that that was meant in a sort of innocent way) and it was all... *coos* So sweet and hot. Sweet and most definitely hot.

I loved this!! We are so doing Fic Swapsies again if this is the result! Lol! Plus, we both actually wrote something, so it sorta did it's job, even if chances are high that we now both want to sleep for a year and a day to get over the weekend/week from hell. Well, I certainly do at least. You? Mine isn't even over yet, I may sob at the thought... tomorrow I've still got more to do. *whines* I hate housework!

So yes! Loved this so, so very much! Because, in case you hadn't gotten it before, WINGS!!! *cough* Yeah. Um... So? Again? Lol!

Yes, I am more than ready to sleep for a year and a day. I've been taking care of my sister for the past week (a table collapsed on her leg at work, so she hasn't been allowed to walk for pretty much all week, and that means waking up early to take my niece to school, then helping Big Sis, then school, then picking up niece and babysitting until she goes to bed. Then waking up to do it all over again). I was supposed to get to sleep in this morning and my mom woke me up at 6AM. *headdesk*

We definitely have to do Fic Swapsies again! I have to get my Gabriel/Sam/Castiel fic finished, so I'm hoping to get that one done the next time. ;D

hehehe, yes. Wings. Winged!Sam makes me incredibly happy, so I had to write him sometime. :D:D:D

Well my sofas finally arrived today, so I'm ready to just sleep now. Though I'm not nearly done. My mother decided that, given I did such a thorough job sorting out my living room, I should start sorting out my library/study. Though, she did concede that it might be better to wait until she can help me with that one, given every time I attempt that, I get distracted by the multitude of memorabilia I have in there... Apparently it's a little weird to answer the phone whilst still wearing the Darth Vader mask/voice disrupter thingie... *cackles* But yeah... sleeeep. Though tomorrow is bill paying day, so that might be contributing to the whole 'let's just sleep until July' thing I'm feeling. Lol! Getting woken up when you were supposed to have a lie in is the worst! Kinda makes you somewhat homicidal, I find.

We should! Maybe not next weekend for me, given it's Mother's Day on the Sunday over here, and on the Saturday I will be babysitting my two nieces (one's only four months old! Who the hell would trust me with a four month old baby?! *whimpers*) But we should so do it sometime soon! I need to work on the follow up to my er... well the blatant porn oneshot I did... *snicker*

Wings!! *giggles* Winged!Sammy makes me smile too... which gets me some funny looks should I read one on the bus, but meh! Sammy's got wings! I don't care what anyone thinks! Lol!
