I LOVE this soooo much! *grins* Your Gabriel is just perfect - him talking to Sam and setting him straigh after getting rid of Eve was just brilliant! And your Sam is just the right side of whiney...down on himself without coming over as self-pitying, which is harder to write than you'd think, so great job on doing it so fantastically!
And this bit:
But when Gabriel kisses him again, Sam's stomach flutters and he thinks, Maybe, just maybe, things will be okay.
Because each time they kiss, Sam feels a little more hope.
Each time they kiss, Sam feels a little more human.
...could this bit be any more perfect and sappy and just utterly awesome?! *grins*
I feel super guilty for not finishing my fic for this yet now, but after reading this I'm definitely in the mood to finish writing it :-D I've got super-sappy-Sabriel brain now lol!
