Okay, please, you must continue! Please! This was great. I loved that Gabriel felt guilty over Mystery Spot, and that he realized he'd chosen the way that amused him rather than one which would teach Sam--as if anything could've taught Sam that particular lesson! It was a great touch that he stuck around and watched Sam for those six months, though.
And the communication fail was epic, and yes, utterly in character for them both. I especially liked how Sam immediately decided Gabriel couldn't stand him because of how he acted, not because of what Gabriel did during Mystery Spot.
