DUDE! That's how they started out with me, too! I used to read primarily Sam/Dean or Sam/Castiel. When I first saw Sam/Gabriel I quirked my eyebrow and passed right over it, thought it made no sense. Then I happened to read one and somehow I've ended up with about a hundred more Sam/Gabriel bookmarks than any other pairing! lol
